CHA Creative is a consultancy offering editorial and marketing communications services for corporate, small business, and individual clients.

In today’s fast-paced digital media, content often appears as templated, copy-paste click bait, and is quickly forgotten.

I believe there is a better way.

Grounded by journalism, CHA Creative puts accuracy, detail, and fairness into its core. The principles are simple. Speed and SEO are guidance, not the solution. Authenticity and respect must be earned, not bought. Those who are right, not those first to react, rise to the top of conversation. Your message—your very reputation among your customers and community—is what matters.

This is the foundation of successful communication.

Clifford Atiyeh

Principal, CHA Creative

Born to a mechanical engineer and a writer, maybe it’s only natural I’ve embraced the creative and technical mindset. My decade-plus career in automotive journalism—a visual, emotional passion for complex machines—tells me I’m the sum of my parents. It explains why I see every photograph and story as art, yet cannot rest until every detail is closest to perfection. It’s why, in all things, I am united by the craft of words and the pleasing order of design.

I grew up with personal computers when they were a small luxury. When I enrolled at Boston University in 2003, mass communication splintered in two. I reported for print newspapers while coding websites. I designed promotional mailings and Flash UIs. I put down my Kodak film for good after I completed my journalism degree and joined The Boston Globe. But I never abandoned the discipline of print media—to be clear and concise in limited space and even more limited time, its permanence, and from that, the responsibility to send the right message and do it right the first time. I follow this process for every project, in every format.

I’ve been independent since 2012—writer, photographer, designer. I’ve traveled the world, put hundreds of bylines into dozens of media outlets, helped market corporations large and small, and reinvented myself more than a few times. I work with some very talented people who inspire me and get the job done. They like working with people who value creative artists. If you’re that person, and can do better than the big-budget agencies who think they know your business better than you, we should talk. Both sides of my brain will listen.
